Advanced Women
Advanced Chamber Women is comprised of about 30 of Monte Vista's most outstanding soprano/alto voices usually juniors and seniors. These talented young women have gone through a rigorous audition process for admission. This group is an advanced ensemble of dedicated and committed students. Members are expected to understand and master music theory, sight-reading, and sing complex music in a variety of genres and performance styles.
Our Advanced Chamber Women compete each year in Women's Golden State. In 2015 and 2017 they won 1st place in this prestigious competition and will host the 2018 event. They tour each year and are looking forward to their upcoming tour in Spain this June.
